Ghost Communicator and E-Pad
The Ghost Communicator is a tool for talking to ghosts. It translates the the incoming ghost signals to readable text (and occasionally, sound).
"I consider the Ghost Communicator and its Emotive Pad (E-Pad) my biggest achievement. And the solution was so simple. When I failed to transmit text strings and longer messages, I decided to focus on the essentials. A pure, undiluted emotion proved to be easy to digitize and transmit." /Åke
The Emotive Pad (E-Pad) in the bottom-left corner is used to transmit responses to the ghost. Initially there are only two responses available: “Yes” and “No”. Use the stylus, tap in the middle of the E-Pad and slide it towards the appropriate response, then release. The emotion is then sent to the ghost.
The yellow “Electrostatic Neutralizer” button (disabled in screenshot) is used to activate the Electrostatic Neutralizer.
The green “Transmit” button (disabled in screenshot) is used to send files to the ghost.
The red button is used to disconnect the ghost transmission. You can reconnect to the ghost from the Vault.
